Apps for People with Disabilities

Many of us do not know how strong and crucial current technologies and devices are in our lives. Those of us who use apps just for fun or work usually forget about the fact that there are apps that make life easier for some people in a different way.

Some time ago, the App Store has been redesigned from the ground up to provide a beautiful place to showcase amazing apps. There are "Daily Stories" that explore the impact that apps have on our lives and include Exclusive world premieres and Behind the scenes. On Friday (February 23) were in "Behind the scenes" apps that help handicapped people in their everyday lives.

Our onlinetlmocnik.sk

The Online tlmočník service helps people with hearing impairment in difficult situations at the office or at the doctor, but also at home when they need help. It is based on Skype communication and available on all devices: PC, tablet and mobile.

Why did we get involved in this project?

We do not just look for projects to earn money, but also to spread goodness and help people who have not easy life because of their disabilities. When we found out that the Pontis Foundation is looking for an IT company to create the Online tlmočník service, we did not hesitate and offered our help. :)
